Most yards are an ecological burden. Too much lawn and too few native species. More and more people see the benefits of meadows populated by native wildflowers and grasses. These beautiful, low-maintenance landscapes support pollinators, store carbon, and increase biological diversity over the long term. 
 
Landscape designer Owen Wormser will share different approaches for designing and growing your own meadow. Whether you have a small lawn or large field, you’ll learn practical, chemical-free strategies that fit your resources and conditions. By way of example, Owen will preview Shantigar’s new meadow project in Rowe. His book will be available for purchase and signing.
